ALMAK S.A. was
founded in Thessaloniki in 1982.
Its founder Mr. Marios Mouratidis viewed a new
business sector that deals with "professional
business gifts" and can be categorized to the
broader sector of marketing and promotion.
The growth of ALMAK is based upon the creation
of a new sales system separated firstly to,
- Direct Sales targeted to all Business Leaders
of any Business sector, and secondly to a system
that is based to,
- Wholesales Agents
The main objective of this system usage was
ALMAK to achieve as greater market share of
the Greek market, as possible.
ALMAK' s main competitive advantages are concentrated

ALMAK's business progress was an effective one.
Its success started in 1982, when a small store
established in Thessaloniki at Kifisia area.
Until today ALMAK turned to be one out of the
three Leader companies of its sector. In 1992,
the company moved to a new plant in Thermi,
covering a production and storage area, of 1200
m2 , including separate space for the company's
offices.
In 1994, ALMAK established its first branch
in South Greece, Athens. Its main objective
was the growth of sales department as well as
the improvement of the Customer Service Department.
Four years later in 1998, ALMAK perceived that
the market potentials, as far as the Professional
Business Gift market is concerned, were marginal.
ALMAK decided to enter to a new sector that
was the sector of 'Promotion' that its main
objective was to support other products sales
which are of different fields.
